Unfortunately, maroon clownfish cannot be kept in freshwater and you know it. Maroons will grow to a maximum size of 5 inches. Maroon clownfish will grow half an inch the first year and will grow another 1 inch the following year.

The Maroon Clownfish is an anemone fish with a maximum body size of 6.7 inches. This saltwater fish forms a mutual symbiosis with sea anemones, unaffected by its host's stinging tentacles. Maroon Clownfish males can turn into females if the only breeding female dies. Meanwhile, the natural food for this stripe-patterned fish is zooplankton and algae.
